Abstract Textbook is the essential element in the teaching system,and it is the premise of designing curriculum to understand the function and structure of textbook.Guided by the viewpoint of contemporary curriculum,this article analyzed the structure of chemistry textbook from the macroscopic and microcosmic levels based on the function of it.
