Abstract Water in its supercritical state behaves very differently from the water under normal conditions.It was developed as a reaction medium with some mystical properties.This paperintroduces characteristicsof supercritical water and some chemical reactions taking place in superritical water solution.Superitical water will play a distinctive role in the disposal of organic wastes and will be one of the environment protection technologies.
