Abstract Hydrogen bond plays a special role in all kinds of intermolecular force,known as universal interaction in supermolecule chemistry.This paper introduces the function of hydrogen bond in modern chemistry field such as supermolecule,self-assembly,molecular recognition,crystal engineering,mater-ial chemistry and catalytic process.
