Reflection on Content Design of Experimental Safety in Chemistry Textbooks

Abstract With the emphasis of inquiry experiment in chemistry curriculum reformation,experimental safety is more important.Through the comparison research on the content of chemical experiment safety in both Chinese and American chemistry textbooks,it is found that the content of chemical experiment safety in Chinese chemistry textbooks is still at a low level.So that,the content of experimental safety should be clearly expressed in chemistry textbooks, experimental safety signs should be added in chemistry textbooks,the relationship between safety education and active inquiry should be properly treated,and experimental safety should be used as index of experiment assessment to fully play its guiding role.
