Abstract As a carrier of knowledge,the textbook is an important basis of teaching andlearning. Content design of the textbook should reflect the cognitive process of students' knowl-edge acquisition. Based on concept pathway of“three states particle modeh},we make a deep a-nalysis of content design of“three states particle modem in the junior high school science text-book in Hong Kong,in order to deal with operational questions about content micro-design oftextbook based on concept pathway.
