Abstract Stefan W.Hell,Eric Betzig and William E. Moerner shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2014 for their contribution to the development of super-resolved fluorescence microscopy. They clearly broke Abbe's limit of optical microscopy by using fluorescent molecules and special optical physics. The pioneering achievements brought the optical microscope into the nanodimension.
