Enlightenments of Chemical Epistemology to Chemistry Teaching

Abstract Chemical epistemology embodied the history of chemistry from experiences to rough experiment, then to fine scientific research, now to interdisciplinary integration of knowledge and methods. The process of presenting chemical knowledge should be similar with the development history of chemistry, because individual development is alike to the formation of knowledge. Chemical epistemology implicated that chemistry teaching should start with students' experiences, emphasize the process of knowledge formation, achieve innovative level and enhance scientific literacy of students.
