Abstract This paper introduced the construction of excellent experiment with example of fabrication and photovoltaic property of TiO2-based dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC). This experiment prepared nanometer TiO2-based DSSC, examined the effect of TiCl4 pretreatment on photoelectric properties of DSSC, characterized the microstructure of the sample and calculated the performance parameters. Through the excellent experiment training, students' theoretical knowledge was applied, and students' innovative ability and scientific thinking were improved.
