Abstract This paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of PBL(Problem-based Learning) teaching mode, proposed the integrated teaching mode of PBL and LBL(Lecture-based Learning) teaching mode and applied the integrated teaching mode in the organic chemistry teaching in pharmaceutical engineering major, chemical engineering and technology major. Practice showed that this integrated teaching mode was helpful to enhance the teaching effect and improve the teaching quality, and could be applied in the organic chemistry teaching in engineering colleges.
