Current Status and Outlook of MOOCs in Chemistry on Network Platforms

Abstract As the most important MOOCs network platform in the word, Coursera and edX companies, both founded in 2012, have attracted tens of thousands of students. This report introduced some representative chemistry courses of MOOCs, reviewed the teaching contents and teaching ideas of current chemistry MOOCs on the online educational platform of Coursera and edX companies, and discussed the current problems in chemistry MOOCs to provide some ideas on promoting the reform of higher education.
