Abstract The experimental designs in the three editions of senior high school chemistry textbooks for "the effect of temperature on chemical equilibrium" were differ from one another, which had different effects on the teaching behavior of teachers. This paper compared teaching behaviors by presenting the relevant teaching recordes of two teachers, and expounded that "chemistry experiment teaching was not only to help students acquire knowledge, but also to train the innovative spirit and practical ability of the students" by analyzing the typical problems in the implementation process of the new curriculum in China.
