Abstract With the help of Tenua, a program of chemical kinetics simulation, we introduced the application of radioactive decay simulations in the radiochemistry course. Accordingly, the computational models for the consecutive decay, branched decay and complex decay chain were established. These simulations provide a vivid form to present the theoretical calculations, which can help the students understand the relevant knowledge and enrich modern teaching methodology.
