Questioning in Senior High School Chemistry Classroom Based on Qu:Est Teaching Strategies

Abstract This paper used the natural observation method to observe grade one chemistry classroom of senior high school and record the teachers' questions and the levels of questions based on Qu:Est strategies, and found that there were lack of high level question design and time for students to answer and other disadvantages. On the basis of this, this paper put forward some suggestions for teaching, such as that teachers should be flexible to deal with the level of questions and give students thinking time based on the curriculum standards and teaching materials, as well as the basis of the students, etc.
