Abstract Bond dissociation energy, bond energy and reaction enthalpy change were widely used chemical terms, they were also easy to confuse in high school chemistry teaching. This paper discussed the relations and distinctions among them, in order to make teachers form a clear understanding, and thus could accurately apply in teaching practice.
