Teaching Design of “Working Principle and Application of Electrolytic Cell” for Cultivating Students' Technology Literacy

Abstract From the perspective of cultivating students' technology literacy, this paper selected the teaching design of "the working principle and application of the electrolytic cell", guided students to understand the role of electrolysis in the promotion of scientific research, let students begin to explore and understand the order of the ion discharge and the relevant scientific principles, and understand that the scientific principle was the foundation of technology development with the aid of the micro experiment. By introducing the application of electrolysis in industrial production, this paper discussed the technical elements and some methods in the process from laboratory research to industrialized production.
