Abstract By analyzing the shortcomings of experiment in senior high school chemistry textbook and the related literatures, this paper designed a set of experiment device for ethanol reacting with oxygen to produce acetaldehyde catalyzed by copper by using simple instruments, such as syringe, wash ear ball, test tube, and alcohol burner, and good results were achieved.
