Abstract The mass of products from microscale chemistry experiment was few, thus this paper used oxygen sensor as a detector applying to the microscale chemistry experiment "preparation of oxygen from decomposition of hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by manganese dioxide", this method could further reduce the dosage of chemical reagents. The experiment results were displayed through curve in the computer, and the experimental phenomena were transformed to intuitive figure and image. The application of hand-held technology in this experiment could help students not only observe the experimental process simultaneously, but also deepen understanding of quantitative research and perceiving of the experimental phenomena.
