Abstract Based on digital imaging principle and a mobile phone taking pictures of standard solutions, this paper determined the iron in iron supplements. This experiment was simple and quick with high accuracy. Digital imaging colorimetric method was recommended to high schools, not only could extend the range of quantitative experiments, but also could highlight the digital analysis technique in chemistry discipline. This method was suitable for senior high school students to carry out interest experiments.
