Abstract In March 2018, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) announced a new revision of the National Curriculum Standards for Senior High School, which was to be formally implemented in 2022. In the new revised National Curriculum Standards for Senior High School, it has made the new adjustments to the objectives, contents and learning requirements of chemistry courses in senior high school, it has formed a goal system that getting knowledge and skills, and emphasized to the cultivating abilities of thinking, judgment, expressiveness, and cultivating the attitude of scientific inquiry, and that adjusted the part of contents and learning requirements of the "Chemical Basis" and "Chemistry".
