Application of Discovery Studio Software in Teaching of Biochemistry: Rigid Docking of Molecule

Abstract The rigid docking method of molecular docking was employed in classroom teaching with the aid of the Discovery Studio software. It is helpful for the students' understanding about the interaction mechanism between ligand and receptor, thus the quality of classroom teaching would be improved. At the same time, the introduction of this software can help students to do self-practice after class and deepen the understanding of non-bonded interactions between molecules.
