Abstract This paper discussed the effect of temperature and concentration on the double hydrolysis of copper ion and weak acid ions from the perspective of theoretical analysis and experimental inquiry. The results showed that:Cu2+ could react with the weak acid ions such as CO32-, HCO3- and AlO2-, at the same time might be accompanied by other reactions; the concentration change of HCO3- and AlO2- had no significant relationship with the rate of double-hydrolysis reaction and the product, while with the decrease of the concentration of CO32-, the double-hydrolysis reaction was more intense and tended to produce Cu(OH)2 precipitation.
