Abstract This paper designed a handheld technology digital experiment based on TQVC concept cognitive model, compared the intermolecular forces of butanol isomers, and applied the theory of “Tetra-Representation” to explain and analyze the experimental results. It was found that the larger the steric hindrance, the smaller the intermolecular forces; the intermolecular forces of an isomer mixture were less than those of any component.
