Abstract In this experiment, Pickering emulsions were stabilized by nanoparticles functionalized through absorption of surfactant molecules. By investigating the double phase inversion of emulsions, we explored the adsorption mode of surfactant molecules on the surface of nanoparticles, deepened students' understanding of the relevant principles of surface and interface chemistry, and cultivated students' comprehensive experimental ability and analytical reasoning ability.
