Abstract It has been used in chemistry teaching to make oxygen-free environment in water by oil film method. Through hand-held technology, taking soybean oil as an example, this paper studied quantitatively and qualitatively whether soybean oil could isolate oxygen, and the conclusion was drawn that the soybean oil film method could not make oxygen-free environment in water, at last, put forward the improved scheme.
