Abstract It reviewed the course of the physical chemistry course group of the College of Chemistry of Nankai University to keep up with the times and build high-level physical chemistry textbooks. Continuously integrate scientific research, teaching research, teaching reform results and ideological and political construction into teaching materials. The edited and published physical chemistry textbook won the first prize of the 2009 National Teaching Achievement Award, Excellent textbook for ideological and political courses in Tianjin colleges and universities in 2021. It will continue to carry forward the fine traditions of Nankai Chemistry and pass on the construction of physical chemistry textbooks from generation to generation.
