Abstract The “I love laboratory” activity held by Science and Technology Innovation Association of Chemistry College of Nankai University for junior undergraduates aims to broaden students' professional knowledge field, make students understand the research frontier and cultivate students' scientific research literacy. Based on the research direction of the laboratory, students independently research literature topics, design the experimental process, participate in group meetings to communicate and solve problems. It not only improves students' experimental skills, but also broadens their knowledge field. More importantly, it cultivates and improves students' quality and ability of scientific research.
