Abstract Combined with hand-held techniques, the method to determine the equilibrium constant of Fe3++SCN-FeSCN2+ was improved, and became more miniaturized and facilitated. An experimental scheme for the determination of equilibrium constants was provided for high school teaching. The value obtained was K=1.6×102 (experimental conditions: T=(26.5±0.5) ℃,I=0.7,[H+]=0.15 mol/L).
