Drug Repurposing Strategy for the Treatment of COVID-19

Abstract Since the outbreak of COVID-19, small-molecule drugs have been developed for the treatment of COVID-19 through drug repurposing strategy. Antiviral and anti-inflammatory drugs such as lopinavir/ritonavir and chloroquine phosphate were timely found to be suitable for the treatment of COVID-19. This article reviews the application of several typical drugs in the fight against COVID-19.
