Abstract The application examples of demonstration experiment in physical chemistry classroom teaching were elaborated,and suggestions on how to take maximum advantage of demonstration experiment were proposed. Demonstration experiment can enliven the classroom atmosphere and increase the interests of the undergraduates in physical chemistry classroom teaching. Thinking ability and innovative spirit of the undergraduate were cultivated during the process of demonstration experiment.
