Abstract This article summaries the teaching methods of the basic and advanced organic chemistry experimental courses for undergraduates of Constanz University in Germany, from the aspects of experiment preparation, experiment contents, teaching modes, grading principles and the laboratory safety management.It is hoped that this article can provide insights as to improve the organic chemistry experiment teaching and reform in Chinese universities.
