Abstract Based on the analysis of the subject content and function value of the newly designed “research and practice” column in senior high school chemistry textbooks published by People's Education Press, in view of how to give full play to the teaching function and value of this column and develop students' chemical core literacy, this paper puts forward the implementation strategies of creating teaching situation clue, developing research-based learning subject, developing school-based elective course and developing STEM course.
