Abstract This paper analyzes the importance and necessity of integrating local culture into middle school chemistry, and sorts out the chemical knowledge involved in Fujian capital culture. Taking bodiless lacquerware, jasmine tea and sugar painting as examples, this paper designs the application of chemistry teaching, and puts forward suggestions to promote the local culture to better integrate into middle school chemistry teaching, aiming at promoting the cultivation of students' humanistic background, family and country feelings, and forming scientific spirit and dialectical thinking.
