Abstract The resource recovery and reuse for treating organic wastewater of solid waste is used to build a teaching situation,so that the students can collect various self-heating patches, use the residue to perform the degradation the dye wastewater, design experimental schemes, search the relationship between reaction rate and some parameters(e.g.temperature,concentration and catalyst),explore reactive species, analyze reaction mechanism, and finally use modern characterization techniques to explore the structural characteristics of waste residues. The whole experiment process is progressive step by step, from“reaction rate”to“reaction mechanism”,and finally to“structure-effect analysis”.The experimental mode combines student center with teacher guidance, and the experimental content integrates science and education, production and education, and ideological and political ideas of ecological civilization. The physical chemistry experiment project teaching system constructed in this way can enhance students’ innovation ability.
