Abstract Starting from the cultivation of outstanding innovative talents in chemistry, based on the constructivist cognitive development education theory, combined with the cultivation of ideological and political education and scientific aesthetic qualities in the curriculum,a basic curriculum evaluation system integrating ideological and political elements of scientific aesthetics is established with students’ outstanding innovative talents as the center. The Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to calculate the weights of various indicators, resulting in a hierarchical weight table.Taking the basic courses of the“101 Plan”chemistry top innovative talents class in universities as an example, the detailed evaluation indicators for the courses are established.Data is collected from the information-based teaching platform and specialized management system to conduct a quantitative evaluation of the basic courses. This paper provides the effective reference and inspiration for universities to develop top-notch innovative talent training programs and design ideological and political education courses.
