Abstract This paper introduces the investigation of the effect of chemistry mata-learning strategy training on chemistry mata-learning ability.Based on the latest mata-learning theories and the ideas of new elementary education reform,264 second grade students from one senior middle school were trained by self-edited teaching plan of chemistry mata-learning strategy training for senior middle school students.The experiment data before and after training were counted by SPSS10.0.The result shows that chemistry mata-learning strategy training can improve the students'chemistry mata-learning ability remarkably,especially to the poor students.
