The Nobel Prize in chemistry 2005 was awarded to three scientists:Yves Chauvin,Richard R.Schrock and Robert H.Grubbs.They have made achivements in olefin metathesis reaction.This paper briefly introduces their achivements,the category of olefin metathesis,the catalytic mechanism,metal carbene catalyst and the application of olefin metathesis reaction.Moreover,the main scientific questions being investigated presently in this field are given.

This paper introduces the investigation of the effect of chemistry mata-learning strategy training on chemistry mata-learning ability.Based on the latest mata-learning theories and the ideas of new elementary education reform,264 second grade students from one senior middle school were trained by self-edited teaching plan of chemistry mata-learning strategy training for senior middle school students.The experiment data before and after training were counted by SPSS10.0.The result shows that chemistry mata-learning strategy training can improve the students'chemistry mata-learning ability remarkably,especially to the poor students.
