Abstract Teachers in local universities have been exploring the methods of developing students' learning interest and building students' professional emotion for chemistry. After years of teaching practice of specialty guidance course, the method of cultivating students' chemistry specialty emotion starting from three idoms was obtained and the effect was obvious.
