Abstract This article calculated the activation energy of chemical reaction by measuring the effects of reaction temperature and concentration of potassium iodide on reaction rate, and eliminated the influences of the reagents by means of formula derivation. Experimental data were fitted by Origin, therefore relationship among reaction rate, concentration, temperature and activation energy could be founded directly from the fitting curve. Different from the merely verification experiment, the revised experiment changed into independently designed comprehensive experiment.
