Abstract Construction of curriculum system to specialty group is the key to the formulation of professional talent cultivation plan in high vocational education. According to the work requirements of plastic additives production and typical work tasks, fine chemicals processing major in Changzhou institute of light industry and technology constructed the curriculum system including the public courses, engineering curriculum group, plastic additives synthesis curriculum group and selected curriculum in the specialty groups, combining other specialties, promoted the whole curriculum construction of fine chemicals processing major by emphasizing the development of core curriculum of the plastic additives synthetic curriculum group.
