Abstract The investigation showed that the scientific inquiry ability of students major in preschool education was very low, the students were not familiar with the complete process of scientific inquiry, rarely experienced in all aspects of the process of scientific inquiry. So,normal colleges should pay attention to science courses, writes science curriculum standards of scientific inquiry, implement the curriculum standards strictly, select appropriate inquiry content, use inquiry teaching method.
