Abstract The intramural practice training base is a form of practice teaching platform in higher vocational colleges. The production workshop of pure water for chemistry engineering department is designed and constructed considering the particularity of specialty comprehensively. This paper introduces the design and construction of the workshop, the operation and teaching mode. The intramural practice training base can greatly improve the comprehensive practical ability of students.
