Abstract During half a century after the birth of nuclear chemistry at the end of the 19th century, nuclear chemistry developed rapidly and there were totally 13 chemists who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry because of their outstanding contribution in this field. Following the scientists' research, we try to review the development process of nuclear chemistry to feel the great chemists' scientific spirit.
