Abstract This paper analyzed the reasons for the large difference between experimental data and expected data, and the reasons for the poor reproducibility of experimental data of measurement experiment of thermodynamics function variation in chemical reaction by electrochemistry method. Based on teaching practice, the authors measured the electromotive force of zinc-copper battery at different temperature through measuring device with thermostatic control system of circulating water, and calculated the variation of thermodynamics functions in the chemical reaction. The improved experiment could improve the effectiveness of experiment teaching and promote the development of students' design ability and innovative ability.
