Abstract Based on empirical research on different teaching designs of "hydrolysis of salts", this paper expounded the practical effects of different teaching materials on the different stages of students' core concept construction,discussed the basic research processes including the establishment of the teaching material library, the design and control of the variables. Based on the inverview of students, this study concluded that "life type" and "industrial type" materials most could cause cognitive drive; "life type" "inquiry type" and "single type" experiments were more conducive to form and establish concepts; "control type" and "single type" experiments were more conducive to the understanding and variation of concepts; "life type" "industrial type" and "complex type" were more conducive to migration and application and evaluation of concepts.
