Design and Application of Micro Reaction System for Experiment Teaching of Chemical Kinetics

Abstract This paper established a micro reaction system by using optical fiber spectrometer for chemical kinetic analysis on the decolorization of an azo dye, acid orange 7, in iron-sodium sulfite-dissolved oxygen system.The characteristic kinetic equation method and the initial rate method have been used for kinetic analysis. The experimental system could achieve a simple and fast reaction kinetics experiment of homogeneous aqueous system, and its data processing method could be used to consolidate and improve the teaching content of the theory of reaction kinetics. The design and application of this whole experimental system could meet the requirements of the experiment teaching of the chemical kinetics in the course of physical chemistry, college chemistry, environmental chemistry and so on.
