New Understanding over Catalytic Mechanism of Iron-Heme System Based Oxidases
Iron-heme is the active center of many vital oxidases in life systems. The porphyrin, as a conjugated ligand with a large aromatic ring structure, has more complicated coordination interactions than normal small molecular ligands. The mechanistic studies showed the existence of multiple positively charged or free radical iron-oxo species in the oxidation process. Their corresponding structures and the changes in the oxidation state of the center iron atom are hard to describe simply using traditional Valence Bond Theory (VBT) or Valence-Shell Electron-Pair Repulsion Theory(VSEPR). Additionally, the formation of the core intermediates varies in different enzymes. This paper provides some new understanding over several mechanism-related questions, hoping to contribute to the education and research of bioinorganic chemistry, coordination chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and enzymology.
Interaction-Inquiry Teaching of Physical Chemistry with Example of Gas-Liquid Equilibrium of Ideal Two Component Solution System

Teaching results showed that this teaching method could deepen the understanding of the basic concepts and principles, and achieve wonderful teaching effect.
Design and Application of Micro Reaction System for Experiment Teaching of Chemical Kinetics
This paper established a micro reaction system by using optical fiber spectrometer for chemical kinetic analysis on the decolorization of an azo dye, acid orange 7, in iron-sodium sulfite-dissolved oxygen system. The characteristic kinetic equation method and the initial rate method have been used for kinetic analysis. The experimental system could achieve a simple and fast reaction kinetics experiment of homogeneous aqueous system, and its data processing method could be used to consolidate and improve the teaching content of the theory of reaction kinetics. The design and application of this whole experimental system could meet the requirements of the experiment teaching of the chemical kinetics in the course of physical chemistry, college chemistry, environmental chemistry and so on.
Simulation and Control of Benzoic Acid Recrystallization Experiment with Artificial Neural Network
This paper described the encryption experiment of activated carbon ratio (A) and solvent volume (C) in optimum experimental condition of orthogonal experiment design and analysis, and built a relationship model between experimental conditions and the yield and quality of benzoic acid with artificial neural network in order to simulate yield and quality of benzoic acid and control experimental conditions. The research results showed that the proposed artificial neural network model (BARE) had high predictive power, and accuracy could reach above 99% while fast flow filter paper was used. Based on this model, the optimum control program compiled by MATLAB could accurately determine the activated carbon ratio and solvent volume were 2.2% and 72 mL respectively, and the corresponding highest yield of benzoic acid was 0.809 0. It could display continuously the change of the benzoic acid yield with the change of activated carbon ratio and solvent volume, and determine the optimum point of experimental conditions on computer. In experiment teaching, guiding and controlling the student's entity experiment with the model could improve the teaching quality.

Experiences in Chemistry Curriculum Development Training of Pre-Service Teachers
This paper took chemical knowledge of Phoenix tea as an example of the chemistry curriculum development training. In the training, the pre-service teachers organized and developed the school-based chemistry curriculum resources, carried out instructional design and other activities under certain guidance. They obtained systematic training in literature search, field survey, paper writing, scientific research, teaching design and other aspects which gradually formed their professional quality of the curriculum reform and education innovation and significantly improved their emotion, attitude and values.
Infiltration of Applied Electrochemical Technology in Classroom Teaching
During the teaching of electrochemistry course in higher vocational education, teachers should simplify theoretical knowledge according to material specialty, design modular teaching of advanced theoretical knowledge, and introduce the applications of electrochemistry in new energy, new materials and environmental protection.
Visualization of Microcosm: Application of VMD Software in Education of Protein Structure
This paper discussed the application of VMD software in the teaching of three dimensional structure of protein. VMD can help students to understand folding patterns and the secondary structure feature of protein in an interactive, more direct and visual way. VMD also can summarize the structure data from instantaneous structures of molecules in thermal dynamic situation, and the statistic results are helpful for a better understanding about the tendency of forming specific secondary structure of protein.
Review on Mayer's Relation and Heat Capacity Ratio
This paper analyzed and discussed two important thermodynamic relations between the isobaric heat capacity (Cp) and the isochoric heat capacity (CV) of homogeneous substances, namely the Mayer's relation and the heat capacity ratio relation, and summarized the related problems that should be paid attention to in teaching. We hope that the work is beneficial to both teaching and learning of thermodynamics.
