Abstract Combining with the teaching of osmotic pressure of solution, this paper illustrated the application of SCL teaching method in chemistry course of secondary vocational health professional school. The process included setting context, introducing new lesson,using group activities to start a new knowledge and expanding students thinking capacity in practical applications. Results showed that SCL teaching method made classroom atmosphere exciting and changed students' learning habits.
