Abstract This paper studied the teaching attribute of Holt Chemistry California Teacher's Edition, and found its characteristics:being consistent with the United States New York science education standards, learning situation was analyzed comprehensively and teaching goals were elaborated clearly, and etc. It provided references for preparation of senior high school chemistry teacher's book and instructional design in China.
