Abstract The talent demand situation of bio-pharmaceutical enterprise in the Pearl River Delta region were investigated through the following methods:field visits to the questionnaire survey, enterprise docking meeting, recruitment survey, and online questionnaire survey. The analysis showed that enterprise QC personnel demand most accounted for 33%. Each company put forward basic requirements for education, work experience, language skills, computer skills; 18% of employers prefered talents enduring hardship, and emphasized the biological personnel should first be familiar with instrument analysis technology and microbial technology; 84% of companies were willing to provide internship positions for university students. Therefore, the universities should place the primary focus on training the comprehensive quality of students, improve students' ability to practice, and help them master the necessary professional skills, at the same time, students should establish a correct view of employment.
