Abstract To train more practical pharmacy major students in line with regional features, the full range of teaching reforms were carried out in analytical chemistry course, including strengthening the training of basic knowledge and skills, designing experiment projects, changing the teaching methods, using different modules for different students. The investigation showed that these reforms enhanced teaching quality, initiated students' interests and improved their innovation ability.
